Wonderful Weekend

What a wonderful weekend this past one was. I loved the warm weather we had. Could not believe that it is November and had the windows open. Andrew loved it too since he got to ride his bike and play outside with his cousins on saturday at Mema's house.

Halloween!

We had a really good Halloween. Went to Steve's parents for a party. Andrew got a walmart sack full of candy. I have a few pictures but will have to put them on here later. Then sunday we had family photos taken. Will post those when we get the cd of them. They turned out really good.

Preschool

Well it has been almost two months that Andrew has been in Preschool. He loves it. He is always coming home either singing something new or telling us about what he learned. He can write his name with a little help from little cards that have his name on them. He was sitting at the table the other night and wrote his name for me. I can't believe how much he has changed over these past few months. I can't wait to see what else this year brings for him in school. He had his pictures taken last friday. So I can't wait to get those back to see what he looks like. I will post one up when we get them.

Fall Party!!!

Last Saturday we went to the Mahoney's house for a little fall fun. We had a really good time. Here are a few pictures.

Nothing new

Nothing is really new. Just thought I would post. Last weekend we went to the NKC car show. We had 9 GTO's show up (that is including us). We had a really good time. For anyone that is interested there is a Shriners car show coming up on the 27th of September from 10 a.m. to ? . I can't remember what time it ends. I am pretty sure that we will be there with the GTO!!

Frogs!!!

Well last night we caught Andrew doing something bad. He had taken both the frogs out of the tank and he had put them in like a empty paper towel tube. So he got in trouble and he has to earn his way back to being able to have the frogs in his room. We have them in the computer room for right now. He has to ask to be able to spray down there tank and we have to be in the room when he is doing it. For every day that he does this he gets a sticker on the calendar. When he has a month full of stickers he will be able to have the frogs back in his room.

Also not quite sure if they are mating or if they are both boys and the one is just having some fun!! :) No eggs. So I guess we will see.

Preschool

Well so far Andrew is liking school. The first day he didn't even tell me goodbye as he got on the bus. He was just excited to get on the bus and go. I didn't cry. There have been a few times when I have almost cried but I held them in. I think the hardest has been when I go to the bus stop and wait for him to get home. Cause he is always like MOMMY when he gets of the bus!!! They have there first field trip on the 9th of September. They are going to Build a Bear to make a bear for there class room. Which I am going to try and get off work so that I will be able to go with him. He never really likes to tell us what he does at school, other than that he got to play outside. He did tell me that he sits next to Jesus. I will try and get pictures up tomorrow when I am not at work.

Wonderful Sounds of Frogs!!

So we finally got to hear the frogs make noise this morning. I was lying in bed and kept hearing this weird sound. So I got up and went into Andrew's room and it was the frogs talking to each other. They were face to face talking. So I woke up Andrew so that he would be able to hear what they sounded like. He was really excited to hear them. They sound sort of like a dog barking off in the distance. I will try and post some pictures up of them soon.

Feeding Time

So after work last night we went to Petco and got some crickets for Cletus and Vernith (those are the names Andrew picked out). Andrew had a really good time watching them eat the crickets. I will try and get video of it next time to post.

TOADS!!!!

We went yesterday with Ricci and Hannah to get Andrew's B-day present from them. We first went to Miles of Exotics. We figured that they would have the best variety of frogs. They only had tree frogs. So then we went to Fins & Foliage in Gladstone. They had lots of tarantulas, but no frogs. So our third and finally stop was Petco. They had the biggest variety. So he ended up getting two Fire Bellied toads. Here is a picture of what they look like.



I can't believe that Andrew will be 5 on Monday and that he will start Preschool that day also. We have his b-day party this Saturday. I will be sure and post pictures of that for everyone to see.

Our Latest Project!!

Well on Tuesday Steven decided that he wanted to rip out the little half wall that we have right after you walk in the front door. It really didn't serve a purpose for anything except us putting crap on it. So we took it out and it looks so much bigger without it there.

Happy 4th of July!!

I just wanted to wish everyone who looks at my blog a HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!! We are going to be going to my parents house for their annual 4th of july party. I will post some pictures up on Sunday.

Preschool

Well my little baby boy (not much of a baby anymore) will be going to preschool. We got the letter in the mail yesterday letting us know that he was accepted. I can't wait to see how he reacts to this. When we go by a school bus he is like mom that is my school bus. Or he used to tell us that he was going to go to Pirate school. He said that cause of the Bible school theme last year was Veggie Tales the pirates who don't do anything. He is in the am class which is from 8:30 to 11:30, Mon-Fri. He starts going to class on August 24th. I will be sure and get a picture on here for everyone to see when that day comes. Which will probably be here before you know it. This year just seems to be zooming by.

Hair Cut!!!!

Well I just went and got my hair cut. It was time to get it cut. :)

Weekend

Well this has been another busy weekend!!! We started out Friday going to CheyAnne's game and then we went to watch a little of Hannah's game.

Saturday Steven got his car already for the car show and I helped with the Garage sale at Judy's. Andrew spent the night with Andy & Ricci. We went to the car show. I ended up helping the Rotary Club sell tickets for the 50/50 drawing. Which is you win have of what is in the pot and the other have goes for a schlorship. We didn't win!! Had a really good time seeing all the old cars. We even got to see Milner's car from American Graffati. The dash was even signed by the guy who played Milner.

Sunday we hung out at home for a while. Then we went to one of Hannah's tournament games. She ended up placing 2nd in the tournament.

Then on Monday Hannah came over to stay the night and we went to the park and hung out for awhile there. Yesterday we went to the Zoo. Had a really good time there. I will try and post up some pictures later.

Hooter's Cruise!!

Well today we went out to the Hooter's Cruise. The first stop was at the Hooter's on Barry Road. There were a lot of nice cars out there. The second stop was at the Hooter's at the Legend's. I think there were even more cars at that stop. There was one more stop but we decided to call it a day.



Then we went out for CheyAnne's 8th grade graduation party. I can't believe how much she has grown up. She is becoming quite the young lady!! We love you Chey!! Before we know it it will be time for Andrew's. I know I am getting a little ahead of myself but it just seems like this year is going by so fast.

What a weekend!!

Well my weekend started off a little rough. I had a tastefully simple party on Friday and the weather was horrible. Although it finally let up as the party was about to start.

Then Saturday our neighbor just turned 60 and they had a surprise b-day party for him. He was so shocked to see all the people there. He just had the biggest grin. We had a really good time. Andrew had a blast there were a lot of boys there for him to run around and play with.

Then on Sunday my mom came up and we went to Holt to see my cousins new house. It was really good to see Josh and spend some time with him. It is really nice to have him back living in Missouri. There for awhile he was living in New York and didn't really get to see him much. After that we went to my other cousins (Aaron) house to see there new baby. He is just the cutest little thing!!! Grace and Macey are getting so big. It was really good to visit and catch up.

My mom stayed until Tuesday afternoon. We had a really good time shopping and visiting. Sad that the time went by so fast.

I will try and get pictures of Blake up tomorrow. Aaron and Jenny's little boy.

Mother's Day Weekend

Here is me and Andrew at the movie.

Well Saturday we went out for lunch for Mother's day. They took me to On the border. After that we went back home so that Steven could work some more on the walls that we are putting around the flower beds. We are not done but we are getting there.

Then Sunday we went to the movie theatre and saw Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. It was really cool watching this in 3D. I think the next 3D movie that we want to go see is called UP! All in all it was a really good Mother's day.

Baby!!

For those of you who don't know. My cousin Aaron and his wife Jenny had there baby yesterday. Blake Justin Breshears he weighed 7 lbs 8 oz, 19.5 inches at 8:04 a.m on May 7th. i am so happy for them. I am sure that Grace and Macey will be great big sisters. I will post pictures on here as soon as we go and see him.

Weekend Project

So here is our latest project. We decided to use bigger blocks around the flower bed. Which we are not finished but this was all that we could do at the moment. Let me know what you think. If you look in the older post you will be able to see the little blocks that we had there before.

WOW!!

So here is our new niece and Andrew's new cousin. Mattilyn Elizabeth Zils. She was born April 21, 2009 at 9:04 p.m. She weighed 8lbs 5oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is so cute. Matt & Michele are going to make great parents.

Here is one of weekend projects that we did a couple of weekends ago. I don't have a before picture. We took down the old post and added new ones and then a railing. It really makes the front look much better.

Easter Weekend!!

Wow what a busy weekend. Saturday we got up early and made the trip down to my parents house to spend some time with them. My brother William and his wife and kids were there. Then one of my aunts showed up also. It was so good to get to see everyone.

Then we came home and I went over to Carl & Judy's to get Flash. Came home sat for a little while and made my grocery list.

So Sunday we get up I make breakfast and then we get ready for the Easter lunch at Carl & Judy's. So we are leaving the house and there is this car that is behind us and he is right one our butt. So we turn out off of 44th onto Davidson, right there under the bridges and the guy is still riding our butt. So Steven decides to get on it well as he does there is a Cop sitting there on one of the exit ramps from 71/I29. So next thing we hear is sirens. So we get pulled over and he runs everything. He comes back and he is like I really debated whether or not to give you a ticket. He told us the three things that he could get Steven on but he said that since he had a good driving record he wasn't going to. Then he asked how long we have had the car. Which we have had it for 6 months. So he said since Steven had gotten one in the six months since we have had it that he wasn't going to be the first one to give him a ticket. Which for those of you who don't know. Steven has an '06 Pontiac GTO. So I really think that GOD was watching out for us on that day!!

Well what weather we have been having!!! I wish it would just warm up and stay warm. I am so sick of it being nice and then getting cold again.

Saturday morning spent some time with Michele at her house, while Steven helped Matt work on the camaro. Then Saturday afternoon we went to Sadie's birthday party. We had a really good time. I can't believe that she is 3!! Dawson is the cutest. Sadie is a really good big sister. I would have pictures but my camera was dead.

Sunday we really didn't do much due to the weather just sat at home and watched the Race. Andrew and I went over and visited Mema & Papa for a little while.

Easter is fast approaching!! I am looking forward to spending time with family!! Saturday we will be going down to my parents to spend the day with them. Then Sunday we will be at Carl & Judy's house.

Something I learned over the weekend is that my dad quit smoking last Sunday!!!!! I just want to say that I have asked him several times to stop if not for himself but for his children and grandchildren. So I pray that he can fully quit this time. He tried to quit back in like '98 I think. Which was when we first moved here to Missouri. Due to stress and other things he started up again. I am just glad to hear that he is quiting. He is on the patch. So please pray that this works for him!!! I don't remember my dad's father due to the fact that he died from lung cancer when I was like 2 or 3. So I am so thankful that this is happening, so that when Andrew gets older he can look back and remember is PAPA!!!

Ok, I promise that tomorrow I will get pictures on here. I don't have to work tomorrow so I will have all day to play around with getting pictures uploaded.

To all those people who have tried to call and get a busy signal. We will be getting Road Runner on April 10th. So now you will be able to get a hold of us. No more dial-up. I am so glad that we won't have to deal with dial-up anymore.

Well this is my first blog. So we will see how this goes. I will try and post some pictures later. I am at work otherwise I would post some now.
